Wildbienen geh\u00f6ren gemeinsam mit den Solit\u00e4rwespen zur Artengruppe der Stechimmen. Deren Artenvielfalt wird als Indikator f\u00fcr die Biologische Vielfalt eines Gebietes insgesamt betrachtet. Als effiziente Best\u00e4uber von Wild- und Kulturpflanzen sowie als nat\u00fcrliche Gegenspieler von Schadinsekten kommt den Stechimmen eine zentrale Bedeutung im \u00d6kosystem zu.<\/p>\n
Vor dem Hintergrund des Insektensterbens wird angesichts des heute verbreiteten Fehlens geeigneter Lebensr\u00e4ume in der freien Landschaft auch die \u00f6konomische Bedeutung der Bienen f\u00fcr den Menschen schmerzlich bewusst.<\/p>\n
Stechimmen stehen zu einem besonders hohen Anteil auf der Roten Liste, da blumenreiche Wiesen und Weiden, Sand- und Kalkmagerrasen, Brachen, strukturreiche Waldr\u00e4nder und Totholz vielerorts aus der Landschaft verschwunden sind. Bis zu einem gewissen Grade k\u00f6nnen diese Artengruppen aber bei geeigneter Gestaltung von Parks, Gr\u00fcnanlagen und G\u00e4rten auch im unmittelbaren Umfeld des Menschen erfolgreich gef\u00f6rdert werden.<\/p>\n

Die \u00f6kologische Bedeutung, ihre Vielfalt, die besonderen M\u00f6glichkeiten zu ihrer Beobachtung und vergleichsweise leicht umsetzbare Ma\u00dfnahmen zu ihrer F\u00f6rderung machen insbesondere die Wildbienen zu hervorragend geeigneten Objekten f\u00fcr den Einsatz in der Umweltbildung.<\/span><\/p>\n Unterschiede zwischen den Arten erkennen, ihre Lebensweise erforschen, die Nutzung der Lebensr\u00e4ume f\u00fcr Nahrungssuche und Anlage von Nestern erkunden und das aktive Nachvollziehen \u00f6kologischer Zusammenh\u00e4nge:<\/p>\n Die M\u00f6glichkeiten f\u00fcr die Entwicklung altersklassenspezifischer und differenzierter Angebote des Natur-Erlebens und -Entdeckens sind vielf\u00e4ltig.
